WHO's favourite Eddie HOWE?

Most likely to be Nolan to take over though, which I said would happen the day he joined us.

I see someone on twatter put a picture of Moyes over hackney marshes yesterday. Maybe he’s had a better offer.

Re: moyes to walk
I personally don't believe this. Aside from the reasons stated already why he wouldn't, I don't think selling one player who has barely played in the PL is a big enough reason to walk. And why would he wait?

Can't see it happening

Re: moyes to walk
The thing is, if Moyes walks because the squad is being sold from under him, no manager with any ambition is going to want to come to the club.

Re: moyes to walk
It may just be a rumour but it’s still pleasing all the same. The denials will even better, especially if they are from Moyes and are as tepid as only he can manage.

Re: moyes to walk
The money/salary/compensation is not the issue here if he does go - it's the further loss of face for the board.

They can do no right and now the MSM can more clearly see that too.

He's now come in to 6/1 to be joint favourite to be the first leave.

Was 8/1 at the weekend. 7/1 this morning.

Re: moyes to walk
walk where? to the pub?

Who gives up a multi million pound job in the biggest league in the world because your chairman sold a player you didnt even have last year?

Pissed off yes. But thats like my boss saying I cant have my holiday when I planned! Hardly the end of the world for him.

And look how Curbs turned out. Did he ever get another job? Our fans dont even like Moyes so lets not start getting into this "he's a hero" bollocks.

The whole world is having an f'd up time, lets keep a little perspective and see how we go.

Re: moyes to walk
We haven't signed anyone, we're the only team not to aren't we and he's lost 5 players hasn't he, not just Diangana so he might think the BERKS are lining up as scapegoat and doesn't want another relegation on his CV.

“He resigned at the beginning of the 2008-09 season after the club sold Anton Ferdinand and subsequently George McCartney to Sunderland against his wishes.
"The tribunal upheld Alan Curbishley's right to have ultimate sole authority in relation to the sale and purchase of players, found that the conduct of the club amounted to a fundamental breach of contract and that Alan Curbishley was therefore entitled to resign."

I’d resign if I was him. His stock will rise and he won’t lose on cash. They will pay him off rather than go through the above again.

Re: moyes to walk
People don't plan in advance to rage quit their job.

"By this Friday I will be sufficiently irritated at the sale of a championship player and will quit in disgust. Until then I will carry on working diligently to take this club to the heady heights of 15th in the table, aka relative success (see contract)."

Nah.

I do hope your right.

Re: moyes to walk
The thing with Curbs was he'd already allowed the signing of at least Camp Freddie without his knowledge but managed to get away with winning the legal proceedings.

Probably why the boring cunt has never worked again...until now.

Re: moyes to walk
curbs never got another job because he sued a skint club, what other chairman would have gone near him after that? no ones calling moyes a hero, but it's clear they're setting him up to fail like they've done with almost every manager they hire
